LYCASIN 75/75

LYCASIN 75/75 is an aqueous solution of a hydrogenated, partly hydrolysed starch composed of a mixture of mainly D-maltitol with D-sorbitol and hydrogenated oligo- and polysaccharides. LYCASIN 75/75 is used in the food industry as a sweetener and humectant. As a sweetener, LYCASIN 75/75 provides sweetness without calories. It is also used as a humectant to retain moisture in foods. LYCASIN 75/75 has benefits for food applications as it is stable during processing and storage. It does not crystallize or harden like other sweeteners. LYCASIN 75/75 is soluble in water and miscible with glycerol, making it easy to use in various food formulations.
