Webinar | New bio-based surfactants for laundry and surface cleaning formulations with Integrity BioChem

VideosHome Care and I&I

Discover TegraSurf®, a range of non-ionic bio-based surfactants that are helping laundry and surface formulators reduce their reliance on fossil-derived raw materials, without sacrificing cleaning performance.

How bio-based surfactants are transforming the laundry and surface detergent market

Surfactants are the key functional ingredient in any laundry detergent, yet almost 90% derived from petrochemical feedstocks1.

Bio-based alternatives are gaining ground fast, with a projected 6.1% CAGR through 2030 driven by regulatory momentum, a dominant Europe market, and growing consumer preference for plant-based, biodegradable formulations2. With 61% of Chinese and 65% of Canadian3 consumers actively seeking cleaner laundry products, and botanical claims on the rise across new fabric care launches4, bio-based surfactants are moving from niche ingredient to mainstream formulation strategy.

TegraSurf®: A range of non-ionic surfactants delivering high-performance bio-based surfactant benefits for laundry and surface

In this webinar, experts from Integrity BioChem (IBC) and IMCD Home Care I&I will present TegraSurf® 96-E, TegraSurf® 906-E, TegraSurf® 120-E, three non-ionic bio-based surfactants for laundry and surface applications.

Manufactured in the Netherlands from an upcycled co-product of the food processing industry, TegraSurf® achieves a lower cost structure than conventional bio-based surfactants through a faster, fermentation-free production process that requires no additional dioxane-management steps.

What you’ll learn about TegraSurf® in this webinar:

  • The production process behind TegraSurf®
  • Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) results
  • Biodegradability testing progress and biobased certification status
  • IMCD formulation testing across six soil types for laundry
  • Stain removal performance vs. conventional surfactants
  • Formulation testing and results for surface applications
