BENTONE GEL SS71V is a specially prepared Non-animal origin dispersion of an organically modified hectorite that delivers a combination of rheological control benefits in a single, easy to use product. It is Shear-thinning viscosity designed to impart control and suspension to organic- and silicone-based formulations. BENTONE GEL SS71V provides thermostable viscosity control of the formulation's oil phase, improves application properties, enhances skin-feel by masking greasy or tacky components and imparts a pleasant residual silkiness to the skin. BENTONE GEL SS71V can be used in products to provide predictable, reproducible and stable viscosity along with excellent suspension of pigments and actives. It also aids in controlled alignment of special-effect pigments in emulsions.
