ELVAX 3130

ELVAX 3130 is an extrudable ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer resin available in pellet form for use in conventional extrusion equipment designed to process polyethylene resins. ELVAX 3130 provides a low temperature heat seal to itself or many other materials commonly used in flexible packaging applications. It can also be co- extruded with a variety of other polymers. ELVAX 3130 is typically used as low temperature seal layer in co-extruded films. It has excellent melt properties allowing it to be processed on blown film equipment over a wide range of film thickness and blow-up ratios. ELVAX 3130 resin is designed to provide an optimal sealing solution for advanced material packaging applications requiring a flexible yet robust seal at lower temperatures.
