ELASTOSIL LR 3844/50 B

Oil-bleeding liquid silicone rubbers of the ELASTOSIL LR 3844/50 B are paste-like, readily pigmentable two-component products with short curing times. Shortly after the curing process, a thin oil film with lubricating properties forms on the surface of the vulcanizates. The vulcanizates are opaque, have good mechanical and electrical properties, and very low compression set. This product can be used within a temperature range of - 55 °C to + 210 °C. The addition of heat stabilizers at service temperatures of more than 180 °C is recommended. It has the characteristics of fast curing, low compression set without post-cure, oil bleeding, and reduced volatile content. Used for battery, connector seals, general automotive parts, and molded seals (Automotive).
