DOWANOL DPNB (EUROPE)

DOWANOL DPnB is a slow-evaporating, hydrophobic glycol ether solvent with excellent surface tension-lowering ability and coalescing properties. As an efficient coalescent, DOWANOL DPnB helps in lowering the minimum film formation temperature in water-borne latex formulations used in cleaning products. It combines properties like high polymer plasticization, large molecular size and strong polymer partitioning that results in very high quality latex films. DOWANOL DPnB also provides effective solvent capabilities and is useful in applications that require grease removal. Its low evaporation rate makes it suitable for applications where extended wetness is required.
