CLAIRJU is a deep reddish brown to brown liquid obtained by decomposing with cellulose decomposition enzyme from the sarcocarp of Prunus domestica L. (Rosaceae), and then adding 1,3-butylene glycol and water. CLAIRJU has a characteristic odor and is used in formulations due to its skin conditioning properties. It helps soothe and calm irritated skin. CLAIRJU is suitable for use in products that aim to hydrate and soothe skin without leaving a residue.
