BENTONE 38 VCG

BENTONE 38 VCG is a rheological additive that provides viscosity and suspension benefits. It is an organically modified hectorite clay that controls microbial content to below 100 cfu/g. BENTONE 38 VCG imparts predictable, reproducible and stable viscosity control to intermediate and low polarity systems. It provides excellent suspension of pigments and actives. BENTONE 38 VCG has controlled alignment of special-effect pigments, shear-thinning rheology and reduced syneresis. These properties allow it to improve emulsion stability in water-in-oil and oil-in-water formulations. BENTONE 38 VCG is a sustainable and non-animal origin alternative. Its light colour and non-abrasive nature make it well suited for uses that require enhanced viscosity and suspension without altering appearance.
