FUSABOND N493

FUSABOND N493 is an anhydride modified ethylene copolymer functional polymer that provides benefits for advanced material applications. FUSABOND N493 is often used as a polymer modifier and compatibilizer to improve properties in polymer blends due to its ability to bond dissimilar polymers together. The anhydride functional groups of FUSABOND N493 allow for improved adhesion, impact strength and processability in polymer formulations. FUSABOND N493 can be used in polyamide blends, golf ball cover blends, and wire and cable compounds to compatibilize flame retardant fillers providing non-halogen flame retardancy.
